I offer Individual Psychotherapy and Couples Counseling.
I focus on working with neurodivergent adults, including Autistic, ADHDer, Gifted, and 2e (Twice-Exceptional = Gifted + Disabled).
I firmly believe in embracing diversity of race, neurotype, sexuality, and gender, and I work with a lens of social justice and cultural humility.
I tailor my approach to suit each person, but my work is influenced by the Neurodiversity Movement and Neurodiversity Paradigm, The Theory of Positive Disintegration, Neuroqueer Theory, Brainspotting, Somatic/Movement Therapies, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Ecotherapy, Expressive Arts, Trauma Theory, Anti-racism, Attachment Theory, and Mythology.
I am licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist in California, and am restricted to conducting therapy with clients who are currently located in California.
I can offer a free 20-minute intro session to make sure that we are a good fit.
I provide consultation for individuals (and/or parents) who are seeking more understanding of neurodivergence, with a focus on Autism, ADHD, Giftedness, and Twice-Exceptionality. Consultation usually involves psychoeducation and explorations about how it might relate to your personal experience. Consultations are not therapy and are usually short-term (1-2 sessions).
I offer trainings for therapists! Click on the Trainings link (above) to find out about upcoming trainings.
I have been approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, and LPCCs. (Provider #84351)
I provide clinical supervision and consultation for fellow therapists. I am on staff as a clinical supervisor at the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic, and I am also available for consultation in my private practice.
