What is Authentic Movement?
Authentic Movement (also called "Movement in Depth) is a somatic movement practice of exploring spontaneous impulses to move the body. This practice can be a part of an unmasking and/or neuroqueering process and has the potential to facilitate both a reconnection with our neurodivergent bodymind needs and a creative exploration of our neurodivergent (or neuroqueer) identity.
Each group will begin with some instruction, followed by a movement practice, then time to explore your experience through writing and/or drawing, and will conclude with a sharing circle, which includes time for each person to share and to receive verbal witnessing from the facilitator.
...........................................
No previous Authentic Movement experience required.
Participants will need a relatively quiet and private space to move without injury (while connected to Zoom) and will need writing/drawing supplies.
All participants will need to be screened prior to enrollment, which can occur through email or a brief phone or video call.

Refunds/cancellation policy: There will be no refunds for missed groups. If a group needs to be cancelled, a make-up group will be scheduled.
Cost: 200 USD for all four groups (175 for early registration by December 15th, 2024)
