At the conclusion of this training, you will:
Understand the history and tenets of the Neurodiversity Paradigm
Understand common Autistic lived experiences
Identify common co-occurring conditions
Understand common experiences of Autistic Embodiment
Identify neurodiversity-affirming therapy practices
Understand options for adapting Mindfulness-based and Somatic therapies for Autistic clients
Participants will be required to attend the entire training and complete a short quiz and evaluation in order to receive a certificate of completion for CEUs.
Course meets the qualifications for 5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
